RSF Customs is a small, family-owned business based in South Texas, founded in 2019 with a passion for fishing and a commitment to building high-quality custom fishing rods. Every rod is handcrafted one at a time using premium components, attention to detail, and craftsmanship that anglers can rely on.
RSF Customs is owned and operated by Brittney Perez alongside her husband, Andres Perez, proudly serving the San Antonio area. In recent years, Covert Custom Rods, owned and operated by Jason & Jolene Covert, joined forces with RSF Customs to better serve anglers throughout the Corpus Christi area. Together, we operate under the RSF Covert brand, combining our experience, craftsmanship, and passion for fishing while remaining a small, family-owned business. You'll often see us working side by side at community events, fishing expos, tournaments, and other local gatherings.
Whether you're fishing the bays, surf, offshore, or freshwater, our mission is to provide equipment that's built to perform and built to last. We also offer ready-to-fish RSF Covert rods series, rod and reel services, custom EVA grips, waterslide decals, vinyl decals, rod building supplies, tackle, apparel, and educational resources for anglers and rod builders.
In 2026, RSF Customs made the decision to close our retail storefront and become an online-first business. This allows us to better serve the fishing community by expanding our products and services, attending events, offering local pickup, delivery, and shipping, creating educational content, and reaching anglers far beyond our local area.
What makes RSF Covert different is our purpose. Our net proceeds from every purchase goes directly toward donations and our Kids Drive program, helping introduce more children and families to the outdoors and the sport of fishing. Every purchase helps us give back to the fishing community and support the next generation of anglers.
